Please help! I have Sony Ericsson K800i. Can you put an unlock code without a SIM card in the phone?
I changed my Sony Ericsson K800i (original wet my then baked), with the same model off eBay. Stupidly forgot to check the net, mine was orange My favorite is locked to Vodafone. Unfortunately, the phone came without a SIM card. I get an unlock code on the Internet, but how could I put in the code if there is no SIM card in the phone? I know most of the sites that ask you to remove the card anyway, but when you say "Insert SIM. "You are allowed to access all the buttons or menus, everything we do is make an emergency call. Please, please, if you please help me if anyone knows The answer to this, as I am desperate to use the phone. PS: I have my Orange SIM map of the original phone. Still works as I tried the phone in my children.
Please please please, DONT buy the code from the Internet. It has not and will not work on SE phones. These must be unlocked by a cable to store phone. Normally, a Tenner. Better still if you can get to Debrand too. This phone back to the original setting without putting all the rubbish Vodafone on the phones. Hope this helps. Good luck.
